i know sometimes you can tell there's something bothering me
but when questioned i simply claim i'm fine
you nod in agreement
knowing it's a lie
i ache to tell you what's on my mind
but you worry so much
that i simply claim i'm fine
i want to let you know
all my secret fears
and why it's hard to sleep at night
why my arms are covered in scars
and why i'm scared of guys
why i fear the past
though i can't change it
but you worry so much
that i simply say i'm fine.
