Forever lonely

Contributed by forever_lonely on Saturday, 1st November 2003 @ 06:30:26 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

A whisper in the cold harsh wind
A footstep on the purple dew
My heart follows sweet long nothings
following my mind in few

A tremor of my hand upon your brittle face
Lost fingers in your hair
I remember your soft touch of silk
I remember everything so fair

Emotions are so passionate
Lost in a deep sea breeze
When will we be back togther
Forever lonely with such ease

Fallen leaves upon a cloudless lullaby
Wishes of candy dreams so long ago
I loved you with a heart so strong
I loved you with a heart so low

My candy dreams, your cloudless lullaby
So far away, nowhere to come
Ill make you a promise of romance untold
Forever lonely all and one

Ahh...the ever popular longings for a lost love. Quite a nice poem I would say...though being only an amateur poet myself my opinions could be suspect. Though I wonder what your message is in here. Being the negative person that I am I would say that you are damning yourself to be forever lonely....because of lost love...or is this a promise to your lost love that you are going to find or win it again? Maybe this would be a good ting to explain in the header.

Wow, a fantastic first write =) Welcome ; )
First off I'd like to say that this is a touching peice of writing, it really is. It hurt me a bit while reading it, because you portrayed it well enough that I could feel the pain too. Very well done.
I hope days get brighter =)
God bless,
Jellybellyprincess
