For a brief moment in time your love shined on me
Like the warm rays from the summers sun
Before you, I lived my life with half a heart
But when you were here, it became one
Then you took your love away
And you took your half a heart too
Now You’re gone, I’m left heartless
For when you left my half left along with you
If you ever decide to return that heart
Return with it the love we once knew
Though I try to move on, I know
My love for you will ALWAYS remain true
