Like a flower that never blossoms
Like a rainbow that’s never seen
The beauty of what we could have
May always remain just a dream

Like a poet without a pen
Like a student without a book
The potential of what could be
May be forever overlooked

Like an artist without his brush
Like a sonnet without a voice
She’ll never know this perfect love
Unless she makes the choice

Like clouds hiding the starry sky
Like glasses covering the most beautiful eyes
I’ll lock my dream deep in my heart
Hoping, one day, it will be realized
