I love you, but you do not love me
Why did I not see this before it had to be?
I needed to know but you never did tell
Until it was later into love that I fell
You had to prove these feelings
With another you did your dealings
Just to see that what you thought was true
That the only love that was there was mine for you
You claim I was only someone to be there and talk to
I know you care, and I will always be there for you
But you claim you never loved me
You thought maybe one day it could be
But it never did happen
And now i'm cresfallen
I don't beleive you!
You told me you loved me in meaningful ways
Maybe you did in the earlier days
I hope I made some difference in your life
I'll still be there for you if you're in any strife
My world used to be so boring and dark
You gave my world meaning, colours and spark
I can't let you go, you're still strong in my heart
Even though you've broken it, I can't bare us apart
You were my everything and everything is what you took
I know you have a heart, you just need to look
If you find it, maybe one day it can be mine
If not, please don't forget me over time.
