I thought I was unloved
At dances I was unoticed
At school I was picked last
I thought you hated me.

I knew I loved you
I noticed you at dances
I tried to pick you first
I knew I really loved you.

Then you started acting strange
Talking to me
Picking me first
Noticing me.

I knew you loved me
You knew you loved me
Everybody knew it
But not as much as we did.

It is really wonderful when the person you love, loves you in return.
