WHEN MY HEART CAN TAKE NO MORE...

…I’LL PUSH IT FOR ONE MORE TRY,
THEN I’LL FORCE MYSELF TO SAY GOOD-BYE,
I’LL ALWAYS WONDER WHY,
MY LOVE YOU DID DENY,
I SAID WITH YOU I’LL FLY,
NOW WE’LL NEVER REACH THE SKY,
YOUR PAST NEVER MATTERED IN MY EYES,
BUT BEFORE THIS PAIN ON WHICH I RELY,
MAKES MY EYES SWELL AND CRY,
I’LL BE STRONG ENOUGH TO LET OUT A SIGH,
AND PROMISE YOU MY WORDS WERE NEVER LIES,
BUT I KNOW I’LL NEVER BE YOUR GUY,
AND MY DREAM WILL NEVER BE REALIZED,
I’LL STILL BE HERE, BUT…

MY HEART JUST DIED.

When reading your poem, I felt your pain. a good write.

While every care is taken to ensure the general sites content is family safe, our moderators cannot be in all places; all the time. Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.
