LoveRemembered
|
Silently departed, more than a year has gone by
Pillows soakened, at night my eyes still cry
Bridges burnt, smoke smothers the sky
Tortured nightmares, heart awakens with a sigh.
Faded dreams, I'm the only one holding on
Spoken wishes, my bright star is now gone
Sleepless nights, dark circles at mornings dawn
Frighteningly lost, my soul has been withdrawn.
Pained daydreams, conversations that never were
Distant vision, the future blocked by your blur
Dead silence, teared thoughts of you and her
Heart breaking, inside emotions still stir.
Stained papers, letters dipped of a tears blast
Dried roses, loves once dark reddened cast
Silver ring, an engagement long surpassed
I remaining, the victim of our past.
