You were the first love of my life you know
And I watched you grow
From a baby child
Seems to me you grew too fast
I guess I thought it would always last
I never liked a tear drop in your eyes
Good times always followed bad
Sometimes happy and sometimes sad
But through it all we learned a thing or two
We never forgot to say,
"I love you"
Then the "C" word came into our lives
It took the laughter from your eyes
Doctors and hospitals became the norm
And our days were filled with bitter storms
Oh don't say good-bye to me today
Tomorrow will be soon enough
Yesterday we walked along
Happy with our words and songs
Today we all have tear drops in our eyes
We held your hand as we said good-bye
You were at peace at last, we couldn't cry
No more suffering, no more pain
And our sad loss became God's great gain
There are no more tear drops in her eyes

This says it all...
No more suffering, no more pain
And our sad loss became God's great gain
That's so true... He's got her now! I miss my sister so much - she was a good big sister and wonderful person all around.
This brought back all the memories of the time we spent at Swedish Hospital with her... Those memories are so fresh still, even after almost 15 years.
I sometimes see her in other people.
I love you.

Oh, peg, God's get her safe in His arms....... He really does..... We'll see her soon, when He comes again for us. I wrote a piece about this sort of thing. "Home Again". You should read it sometime if you're feeling down...... really lifts the spirits.....
He's coming back. you'll see her again soon.
