The color of blood
runs thick and thin,
as it blossoms into a bud
yearning from within.
It's passionate sweet smell
is released into the air,
filling the world around her
with secrets to share.
Look way o'er yonder
as thorn bush grows,
for it gives birth to this wonder,
known as - a rose.

I enjoy the emotion you put into a simple (or is it simple?) flower -- a thing I think which occurs to few people. |
