Turning Away

I look at you,
You turn away,
I don’t know why?
Maybe it’s cause I’m gay.

Things have changed,
And I don’t know why?
Hardly noticing I’m alive,
Maybe cause I want to die.

I hope you know,
I would never hurt you,
I love you so much,
I really, really do.

But things have changed,
Between you and me,
I hate not being close,
Maybe it’s the way, you want it to be.

If this is true,
I want you to say,
You and I will end,
And that’s the way you want it to stay.

I can’t go on,
Not knowing how you feel,
This is so confusing,
Cause your such a big deal.

Maybe you don’t feel safe,
Maybe you need a break,
Maybe my issues are too much,
Maybe you think I’m fake.

Please let me know,
Where our friendship lies,
We need to work fast,
Before it dies.
