You worked your way to my heart,
The first day our eyes met.
I had a loving boyfriend,
That you made me forget.
I dumped him because you loved me,
I broke his heart so much,
But I could only think of you,
And your soft loving touch.
And with you I felt the love,
I had rejected for so long,
And I really truly believed,
That together we belong.
Until that day the phone rang,
And you were on the line,
You leaked a tear, And said;
"Your no longer mine."
The pain I felt,
As you ripped out my heart,
Dumped by a man,
I had loved since the start.
I didn’t understand,
Why you were crying too,
You dumped me,
I never broke up with you.
I didn’t hear from you,
For a while after that,
Until another day,
When you wanted me back.
You explained to me why,
Said, you were full of regret,
Wanted to give it another try,
Act like we first met.
I fear I must say no,
Although I still love you,
Forced to let go,
Of my one love so true.

sad, but beautifully written. it's kinda sick that our best scrawls are inspired by such painful experiences. keep it up (the great writes, not the painful experiences).
