HALLOWEEN HELL-ON-EARTH

Contributed by Steeleyes on Wednesday, 29th October 2003 @ 10:48:25 AM in AEST
Topic: political

The Ghouls and Hawks
Had had their day
The Cold War was OVER
Nothing more to say

They then cast round
For some NEW strife
Then came 9/11
And a fresh lease of life

The deadender ghouls
rose up again
All the sickos and sadhats
raving women and men

They found their voices
Both screaming and shrill
We want WAR!
Such a beautiful sound, what a thrill!

The ghouls had returned
With a NEW role in life
To stab every Muslim
In the back with a knife

To create MORE undead
Just as they are
To keen in the night
with howls from afar

Perle and Cheney
And Weir-wolfowitz
All dogs of war
All hypocrites

With a new lease of life
To tell tall tales
To frighten the children
As the night hawk wails

Creepy old men
With hate in their hearts
Hardly alive
‘til a new war starts

But all children be brave
Look through these sad ghouls
They're not even zombies
But sad life-less FOOLS

Don't let their shrieks
Frighten you so
Turn round and face them
And tell them to GO!!!!!!

Happy Halloween Folks!
from Steeleyes ;D

I read most of your poems and they are all decent. But damn do you hate the united states or something. I think you should expand your talent and try to write about other things.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
