Sometimes Sex
Sometimes the act of sex is overrated,
Sometimes it’s overstated.
It’s not the act that causes the stir,
No matter how often it might occur.
It’s the oneness of two lovers,
Who spend time together under the covers.
It’s the expression of love that’s being shared,
A true expression of how one cared.
It’s the pleasure one wants to give,
To the person for which he lives.
It’s two hearts beating as one,
Long after the act is said and done.
