UNLOCKING YOUR HEART

You are always in my heart,
No matter what I do.
When I take a walk at night
You're walking right besides me.
I look up at the pale full moon.
The man is gone, the face is yours.
When I wake up in the morning
And walk into my garden,
I hear the flowers whispering
'He truly loves you, he's thinking of you.'
As the sun shines upon my face,
I can feel your warm tender kisses.
Once before I had a love
I thought was tried and true.
But it left my poor heart shattered.
The pain was hard to bear.
My broken heart restored itself,
It's almost as good as new.
It's really true when you hear the words
'Time will heal your sorrows,'
But never will they be forgotten.
So when you gave me the key to your heart
And offered me a lifetime of love,
My hand hestiated at the door, holding the key,
Thinking of that love so long
ago.
Then I looked into your honest eyes.
Could see the love overflowing.
I knew God must have sent you to me,
So slowly I inserted the key.
