You listen to the news
And read all the reports
"12 dead, 6 wounded"
Teen violence of all sorts

You go to school one day
Thinking everything is fine
Then someone shows up with a gun
April 20th, Columbine

I've known lots of people
Broken noses, blackened eyes
Everyone's violent now
Kids and adults, girls and guys

They think it's a way to solve things
Like there's nothing they can walk away from
People think it's the "only way"
I think it's just dumb

Today it seems to me that everything needs to be solved by violence. We live in a sad sad world.And yes I think its dumb too.
