Have you ever held in unfallen tears?
Or tried to let go of with held fears?
Have stared deeply at your reflection
And wondered the mysteries of its deception?
Have you ever took on the challenges of all
Or failed to see your one true call?
Have you ever loved and lost?
Or tried to win at all cost?
Have you ever seen the world through a child's eyes?
Then maybe you would realize
That the world not only holds fears
Or challenges and deceit and lies and tears
That world is sometimes meek and mild
But only when you look through the eyes of a child.
