As splendid as life had been
I knew that this wasn’t for me
Yet they pushed me to remain here
And told me this is how things would be
Along the fury of human instinct
That I was forced to face as a mere kid
I noticed actions die much faster
Then words ever did
So go and drink your vodka and tonics
While I skip along the yellow brick road
I need nobody to lead me
I can make it all on my own
But no, it will not be you I miss
And yeah, I am in love this
Lost in my mind of purple haze
While they destroy me in numerous ways
And all the times when you are down
And life pushes your faces in the ground
And when you reach for my bubble to burst apart
Know that, you have no heart
And with all my words, I am sincere
When you are not there, I am here
So don’t go and thrust others into your black hole
And destroy what is left of their soul
