Faded words

When the words have long since faded
With the echoes in the wind
And life it seems so jaded
On nothing can I depend
And the nights are cold and lonely
And my heart is saddened and blue
As I seek to find some peace of mind
There’s nothing I can do
But to look beyond the morrow
As I journey through the day
To leave at last the sorrow
Of a place called yesterday
To seek the path of days to come
That’s just beyond the door
And hope to find someone who waits
On the road to evermore

Just simply outstanding poetry my friend....and a message I desperately needed to hear. Very well done as always...Larry |
