I bring you flowers in the rain,
A constant summer sky,
An evening that won't die,
And still you bring me pain.
I bring you love in a silken vase,
A ribbon with my heart,
An ancient city torn apart,
And you say this can not be ours.
I ask you: why you won't just say,
"I'll be yours now", today,
Why you keep on fighting,
The flames I'll die igniting.
