Your words envelope me and drape my shoulders like a fresh spring breeze
The scent of your heart lingers long after,and I cherish moments as these
Into the afternoons presence,I take you in hope you will stay for the stars
Where we would lay beneath a hope filled sky,spinning dreams of ours
Close to my flesh filled fantasies,touching on love's voodoo charms
Tempting me nearer with just your breath,drawing me into your arms
I wonder at the tenderness of you,as I listen to your soft soothing tones
That come from within as you speak to me,with you,I'm never alone
On a blanket we lay,of my fanned out hair,looking to the heavens above
Sharing laughter,making memories to keep,grateful for what seems enough
As friends and as lovers,a world we explore,giving into the mood of the night
I close my eyes,my heart mesmerised,your essence my soul's guiding light
Many thoughts come to pass,I pray these precious moments will last
For what would a moonlit night be without you near me to touch
If I couldn't gaze in your eyes,or taste your softest of sighs
Then all the nights beauty and colours would slowly hush
I will not waste time worrying,instead you,I'll keep loving
Here,together you and I,stars and moonlight above
I have more than before,I know tomorrow,there's more
And for now,for my heart,thats beautiful enough
