Through the tears and through the pain
In a daze pushing yourself
Stumbling along, against the odds
Like a house of cards, unbalanced
I know beyond doubt, so firmly remain...
While this grip of hands invisible
Torture our heart and soul
Trying slowly to dim the glow
From the door at the end of our passage
A hazy black out spell, unspeakable...
I hear hushed and crazy words
Spoken from lips of guests uninvited
Barely able to comprehend - all unkind
Followed by your anguished heart
bleeding, and you pleading needlessly...
Don't let this dark realm close in
Erase the visions and choose to forget
Tightly hold on to faith,
If you need, lean on me for all to see
how can the good not be evident within....
