The story of a love that could not be
Was not that of Romeo and Juliet
But of Josh and me

It's the saddest thing for me to say
When I think of him and me
And how we could have been together today

It took us both a year to do
To admit how we really felt
But I think it's something we both already knew

He's still my passion, I give him my heart
So he can stay in it forever
That way I know we won't part
