Goblins

Topic: Holiday Poetry

Goblins

Tis the night of the full moon
With stars shining eerily bright
Soon all the little goblins
Will be haunting the harvest night

Witches will cast their spells
Ghouls will soon appear
And the world will welcome
Halloween another year

Mothers keep your children
Safe and secure in your sight
For many a ghost and demon
Haunt the highways tonight

Beware of their guises
For as children they play
Hoping to lower your guard
And steal your heart away

But on Halloween night
There is a way to tell
Whether the child is your own
Or a minion from hell

For when the eve is over
Too many children return to your place
The ones to send away
Have no chocolate on their face

Russ
