Theyre Gonna Take My Mind Away

they're coming to get me to take my mind away
i dont know who they are or what they are
i just know theyre going to take my mind away
please believe me when i say theyre gonna take my mind away

it scares me when i think of them taking my mind away
it scared my daughter when i told her so
i think she thought id lost my mind already
please believe me when i say theyre gonna take my mind away

i tried to explain to her without frightening her
i dont think it worked i think i made matters worse
she does so much for me how could i frighten her so
please believe me when i say theyre gonna take my mind away

This is excellent Maryetta. A poem in the victim's point of view.
