''Subtleties''

"To fate and time i dedicate this eery little write, a gift for all forever palled and left in darkest plight."
The feeling was always faint
A wisp of silent air
A whiff of things intangible
Of dreams and icy glares
A distinct waling which has no source
Unshakable deceit
A surreptitious call to arms
A war against belief
Bereft of hope
Far from relief
Don’t hesitate or run
A futile path
—You’ll never last—
“Your life has just begun.”
