Awaiting Eternity

Contributed by MeaninglessSemantics on Wednesday, 21st August 2002 @ 01:23:25 PM in AEST
Topic: SecretLove

I lie here, on this ridged bend
With hopes that soar in your sky
I can hear your waves explore my ears
wretched memories float on by

The screen that portays my hearts will
was merely just a screen
This faint smell of past completes our eyes
but im pure, yes i am clean

I long for the sweetest perfection
that blurred eyes see your heart holds
Contrast and compare with folded minds
until our hearts are left, cold

But still you stare into my eyes
with a large mass undecided
did the putrid sands of time
cease when i confided?

This need for order follows my twin
she's completely consumed in the drama
and she will weep, deep in her sleep
in contemplation of this delemna

this world that lies inside your eyes
Leaves description far behind
a heated flame ignites in the cold winter breeze
how can this beauty be so blind?

As this ridged bend diludes and fades
you still try to find the trail
Awaiting eternity, buried inside
Until then, my heart remains frail
