The Final Goodbye (Years Later)

Contributed by Dragons_Of_Rose on Saturday, 13th July 2002 @ 07:03:04 AM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

Basking in the moons rays, glowing like the crystal waters of the sea
Fingers entwining her shimmering silveriness, age timing its degree
Mind drifting off like the ocean tides, washing out to a distant melody
Among a time so long ago, when they awaited their final good-bye.

Picturing the clear complexion of his face, the rose of his satin lips
The softness of his skin, as they melted together under the wetness of her fingertips
Her dreams softly afloat on the moons sterling eclipse
Wavering in a time so long ago, when they awaited their final good-bye.

Remembering the warmth of his tears, the sound of his muffled weeps
The rippling of his reflection, as she slowly sank back to the deep
The snuffling of the candle, as the light forever vanished to sleep
Reminiscing on a time long ago, when they awaited their final good-bye.

Recalling the loneliness of the coral, the silence of the waves
The redemption of letting go and the shallows of her hearts grave
A love to last for all eternity, pushed away by Gods curses and craves
Recollecting a time long ago, when they departed to their final good-bye.

Surrendering to the airs chill, as the tide delicately touches the shore
Regaining her composure and the heart of her souls unforgiving core
Gliding back into her home, another unhappy ending with a padlocked door
Forever holding a time long ago, when they painfully departed to their final good-bye.
