I’d give it away
Trade all that I have
I know what I’m waiting for
That one wish, my last
Someone I relish
That one person I seek
The one in a million
Who’d spend time with me
A friend to rejoice with
My closest playmate
The friend within friends
Of her, I await
Yes, perfection is futile
For none are so true
Yet I’d found none better;
For I have found you
The reason we’d met
Was a truth beyond grasping
But who was I to question
A great gift of such lasting?
I’d give it away
Forget all that I knew
I’d know that it’s worth it
Because I’d found,
You

Perfection is possible. See what you wish. Look to the left then look to the right if it is safe then cross the street. |
