Within Mars' View

Contributed by jaeann on Thursday, 23rd October 2003 @ 05:33:34 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Traveling through time
within my darkened dreams
loss of morality the crime
valued every scheme.
Kindred spirits uncommon
a lecture every day
which side to fall upon
all the rules go grey.
The tension so galllantly high
power of the dark one
absence only makes one cry
and leaves you stunned.
Corrupted and at a loss
think not for any while
at all of it at what the cost
turn back the clock dial.
Take not the shot
of picture perfect
connection so hot
the ache was direct.
Hurried phone calls
license plate rendevous
that voice enthralls
unable to brew.
Open up the doorway
down the rabbit hole
not a long enough stay
too much love to dole.
The dreamer is destined
to feel the heat of night
the deal is tested
walk away from sight.
Sit upon the moon
walk the carefree path
all you think is ..... soon
relish in the thickened wrath.
