Put your head a little closer dear,
Shake off all that heavy fear,
Softly speaking, gently weeping,
Thoughts deliberate and creeping.
When the curtains rise the show must begin,
Troubled characters wearing masks of sin,
Scenery painted with a thousand virgin tears,
The drawing of the drape, the curtain call nears.
The actors bowing low to the ground,
Nearly topple with the crowd’s massive sound,
I will help you find innocence lost,
I will make steaming frozen frost.
