I need you now,
This night,
Need you to give me all of yourself,
Need you to hold me tight
Against the rock hardness of your chest,
Let me sink against your soul
And at last find in you my rest.
Need you to massage away
All the kinks and nerves of the day,
It seems that only you can make
All my fears dissipate.
As the need for words
Slowly falls away,
And the orange sundown
Melts into the red dawn of the day...
I need you now,
Need you to hold me tight,
Need you now,
This night.
