A kiss that I never got to give,
And words that I never got to say,
Are what fills my heart with pain,
Every passing day.

Did you know how much I loved you,
Or how much I really cared,
Do you know how much pain is in my heart,
And how I want it to go away.

I wish I could turn back time,
And make all the pain go away,
While knowing that you left this world with my love,
And a kiss that I gave

Hello kassidi, I'm so pleased to see another poem from you...and what a lovely one it is. It's so sad and you've captured the true emotion of the regret of not being able to say goodbye. If this is a poem about yourself...then I would say that this person knew how much you cared.
