The Good Old Days

I remember those good old days,
when you were never away.

We could never part,
or it would tear us apart.

I remember that night,
when you gave it your best try.

Not to leave me,
but it had to be.

You found someone else now,
but I don't know how.

I thought we were perfect together,
but I guess are life wasn't really altogether.

But I still remember those good old days,
when you were never away.
