Sitting alone,
Only thought that comes to my mind
Are of the days left behind
the lush green fields, the bright sunny days
To excitement it would often yield
Everyone would come laughing and giggling
Taking about 'crushes' and 'girls' as usual
though that was when we were siblings
"Life" then was not so cruel
It ran smooth and cool
Yes, I am taking of life in skool
Today, those classes seem to be fun
Though there would be tons of work to be done
On failure, the teacher would often scold
But they only wanted us to mould
into better creatures with unique features.
the clinging bells would rule our world
Today we might feel free (only in movement )
To my thoughts I say
" let it be "
Those innocent white days
is all is see !!

Great poem. I often wish that I could go back to school. Life seemed so simple then.
