One lonely soul standing in the rain
Just wondering why you don't seem to care
I know you never wanted me in the first place
But I'm still here and somehow you're not there
Never wanted
Never cared for
Never given what I need
Misunderstood
Miscalculated
Just pretend you didn't see me bleed
Nothing is ever important enough
For you to take a little time to care
You never put the effort into things
That mattered to me; you've never been there
How much will you give
When I'm gone for good
You've always given just enough
I was happy
Now I'm let down
Because now that's just not good enough
I guess I'll just slip out quietly
So you can pretend I was never there
I'll leave a note on the fridge saying goodbye
So you won't have to pretend that you care
Always unwanted
Always out of place
Just another face in the crowd
Always forsaken
But tell me now
Would you hear me if I screamed out loud?

| there was a time in my life i felt noone cared and that noone wanted me but that time has ended and ive found im worth more then anyone ever let on. and just as i found my way to happiness and someone who wants me you too will have your day when you will no longer feel the pain of being unwanted. your poem speaks a language of its own just as soul does im sure you have a great spirit and a gift with a pen. |

Our parents never seem to care,but it is US who needs to care about ourselves enough to see THEIR ignorance in letting us bleed our souls into oblivion. This is a great write that I surely hope you show to them. They may not hear you scream,but they HAVE to read your pain right?
