Daddy,Daddy

Topic: SadPoetry

Daddy Im so lost out here, frightened all alone
Daddy wont you come for me,and carry me back home
It's raining and it's cold tonight,my tears are all thats warm
And daddy you know how scared I am,of the thunderstorms
I think I hear you calling me,I cant find you,though I've tried
I thought you would have come for me,you always did when I cried
I wish I was at home in bed, with my teddy snuggled near
To feel your kiss goodnight, and see your smile clear
Your lil man is tired daddy, and wants to go nigh nigh's
So I better say my prayers, the ones we shared, you and I
Daddy in the window, leave a candle burning bright
So your lil man can see his way, back to your loving arms tonight
And GOD,if you are listening, please hold my tiny hand
Just until I get back home, just until my daddy can

I'll keep him in my prayers, sincerely, truly. God will always look out for EVERYONE, so I pray that His hand of comfort strengthens for Daniel, and that His peace and love console those who love Daniel dearly.

God bless,
Jellybellyprincess
