Have Not Regret

Contributed by jaeann on Monday, 20th October 2003 @ 09:06:13 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

sight unseen
fears unknown
jumbled days
courage on loan
dreams of calm existence
nights of losing ground
raised up from the mushrooms
back where you were found
noises fill the darkness
energy frees the mind
caught up in the circling rain
a storm not far behind
ragged breath
stolen thoughts
ripened into fear
reaching out
peeking in
the edge so very near
one step forward
three steps back
motionless
prepare for an attack
seeking shelter in the brew
lion's breath across the cheek
careful timid steps
down the rocky path
to all you ever seek
lay no regrets
upon your back
fear not the coming day
past the burned up little bridges
and onto 'morrow for a stay

I like these lines..filled with reality and inspiration:
"lion's breath across the cheek
careful timid steps down the rocky path
to all you ever seek lay no regrets
upon your back fear not the coming day'"

Wonderful thought provoking write Jaymee
Try to live just one day at a time, and not into the night.
Give it away each and every day, don't fear the tomorrow....don't borrow the trouble until tomorrow. For with each day you can stand the trauma, don't reach for the next day, in it, itself will be it's own drama.
Great wisdom for us all in this write Jaymee,
Very deep for me, I can see....where you are trying to go keep going, and soon you will follow!
Love you,
Connie Sue
