A WAR THAT STOLE AWAY MY PRIDE
LOST A BATTLE OF FIRE AND ICE
YET DESTROYED THE GOAL OF THE OPPOSITION
I CASTED DOWN THE LOVE OF THIER CHRIST

Break away - YOU BROKE ME AWAY
Take away - YOU TOOK IT AWAY

LOATHED BY A TRIBE OF FOREIGNERS
AN OSTRACISM WAS TO BE MADE AT THE LEAST
THE TORTURE THAT WAS MORE BITTER THAN DEATH
NOT CRUEL ENOUGH FOR THE BLACK BEAST

SO YOU THREW ME AWAY

STRIPPED OFF MY THRONE FOR YOUR VAINGLORY
AN ANATHEMA FALLING DOWN
SPIRALING OFF LOSING THE TRUE ME
BOUND AND CURSED BY YOUR DECREE
THE HEAVENS I CAN NO LONGER SEE
A BLEEDING CRASH INTO THE GROUND
WRECKED, A MORTAL NOW I MUST BE
A NEW ANIMOSITY - I HAVE FOUND

I LOST WHAT WAS SACRED
FOR I RAVISHED WHAT YOU THOUGHT HOLY
I BECAME WHAT YOU HATED
SO YOU TOOK AND CHANGED ME TO A LOWER DEGREE

YOUR VERSION OF "EYE FOR AN EYE"

Break away - YOU BROKE ME AWAY
Take away - YOU TOOK IT AWAY

NOW I - NOW I WALK ALONE
A SHATTERED VAGRANT
THE WEEDS SO OVERGROWN
THEY ARE SO ARROGANT
AS TO Reach to for the sky I lost
I have taken the mentality of Faust
The fire no longer burns through me
Excommunicated
I am a severed deity
