The path I have chosen is righteous
at least it is today
I've been down some bumpy roads
unable to find my way
So many forks I've crossed
never choosing the right lane
I would end up somewhere in hell
or going quite insane
From the early days of childhood
i was a hellion from the gate
rebelling against everything
my parents my God my fate
For those who tried to save me
i give you all my best
without your faithful praying
I'd surly be laid to rest

True, it's those around us who pull us through, (and God himself, of course), but not ourselves. Those last two lines say it so clearly. Very inspirational write. And hey, if you ever post something real short (about 10 lines or so, maybe) that's religious, could you tell me about it? Cause I've been looking around for more stuff to post at my school, and I'm not having too much luck. If you know of anything else too, I'd love to see it.
Best wishes,
Jellybellyprincess |
