My heart tells me that I should
Take this opportunity
To love you
To tell you how I feel,
But something is holding me back
For what I know is real.
I want to show you my feelings
And tell you from my heart
How I really feel about you
That I loved you from the start.

My mind goes blank when you near
My feelings kept tight,
Brings me to love you more
When your in my sight.
I know this love could be real,
If I give it a try,
But this burden is clouding my sight
If only I could tell you how I feel.

I myself am SICK AND TIRED of hiding my feelings from Chris, for whom I wrote most of my poems. But I hope everything turns out good for you. Nice write, and keep trying. He'll find out sooner or later =)
