Gentle is the night
That carries the forsaken message
The whispers of the wind
The twinkles of the star-lit carraige
Easy is the slow-come day
The murky sun, the smothered heat
The chilly night long wished away
The sagging heart;
Its weighted beats
Day and night,
the endless exchange
Joy and anguish,
the vast terrain
To cross from one
and enter another
To pass the barrier-
-the walls go forverer-

Yet again I am amazed at your skill to draw me into your poem. I felt the tug of your words in the give and take that goes on daily, which we have no way to escape. I can identify very much with your words and vision in this work.
