Lost Dreams

Living in this world of lost hope
Lost dreams
Makes one wonder
What the meaning of survival actually is
There's no such thing as true happieness
And everyone is trapped in the world they've created
Going along with whatever their friends think
Longing to be accepted
Forgetting what's actually inside their heart
We wake up every morning
Readying ourselves for the world around us
Searching for something, anything to complete what's lost
Only to find nothing
Depriving ourselves of everything
Falling into the same rutines of yesterday
Wodering if there's anything that will actually make us happy
What's lost can no longer be found
And we are here
Dwelling on anything possible
We all have these dreams for the future
But nothing seems to matter for today
Wishes fill our heads
Things that we all know deep inside can never be achieved
Yet these are the things we live for
Everything's just a joke
A lost hope that we can't bare to let die
Pondering what we can do to change
But never doing anything about it
Confused and scared for taking the next step
Regreatful as we look back
Sorry for everything we've done and will do
No one wants to live this way
Yet we all still do
Why
Why do anything
When nothing seems right
