Sunlight Angel

Contributed by LovingWhispers on Sunday, 19th October 2003 @ 05:27:16 AM in AEST
Topic: PoemsonBeauty

Through the curtained window, sprays golden light of day
Shining warm upon her locks of brown, innocence at play
Such tenderness within her eyes, lasting beauty in this world
May moonbeams hold the wishes of this gorgeous angel girl

Her quietness is pretty, pondering on her days so young
Like a dove, petite and pure, her flight in life has just begun
Out into the blue, soon will fly another spirit free
To make her mark and shed her light, being all that she can be

Standing close beside her,is the man who holds her heart
And from his watchful eye,she will roam but not depart
For there within his loving arms, she's at peace and held safely
This man who is her dad, loves her unconditionally

The time will surely come when he'll have to accept your wings
Yet he will go on loving you,for the happiness you bring
Never for a moment, will he not be watching over you
For nothing in this world means as much as his girls do

Smile precious one, dream the songs of your tomorrows
May the road you take be smooth, and your heart be free of sorrows
Into a woman you will bloom, soon enough you will be
Perfection of the beauty, I see now before me

Oh Sharon, how very blessed is she
to have a Mother like thee
To only see the best in her, and love her from the start uncondtionally.
She doesn't know it now, but the day will come.
She's so blessed to have a mother with a beautiful heart!
Your poem was just lovely.
Thank you for sharing!
