I Remember

I remember the look in your eyes when we first met you.
How happy you were that you, Alison McGuire were going to live in a home unlike any other. The day that you came to visit the 2-story home was the day you fell in love with the orange grove. Now that they are gone that once happy glow is gone. Replaced by a worry that would never fade. Now I understand that worry, that you were going to have to move to a duplex that wouldn’t suit the needs of your family. The glow will soon be re-instated to make the once shinning star that you were. Or maybe it will be replaced by something new ike the love of skateboarding.

All I know is that I will miss you and that happy feeling you give me every time you are near.
