Shimmering with much delight,
Sparkling like a star at night,
A band of love that graces my finger,
Proof that our love will forever linger.
A gift of love a gift of passion,
One that can’t go out of fashion,
A gift of longing a gift of desire,
Symbolic of our hearts’ fire.
Seal of promises that we make,
To be each other’s when we awake,
Faithful to each other only,
A life together that’s not lonely.
