the words fall upon deaf ears
they do not hear my words
they are frightened to hear the truth
so they fall upon deaf ears
they are words that go nowhere
the words fall upon blind eyes
they do not want to see my words
they are frightened to see the truth
so they fall upon blind eyes
they are words that go nowhere
the words fall upon the mute
they do not want to speak my words
they are frightened to speak the truth
so they fall upon the mute
they are words that go nowhere
the words are no longer understood
i spoke the truth and that was wrong
they are all frightened by the truth
so they fall upon no one
they are words that go nowhere

Fear is a terrible thing. Fear is also usually borne of ignorance. Keep doing what you are doing Maryetta, you're fighting the good fight!
Excellent write!

your words mingle with mine, as long as words are spoken, heard and seen knowledge and truth will never die.
thank you both for your praise, there might be hope for this world after all.
