Dark Hallway

Contributed by jaeann on Friday, 17th October 2003 @ 01:16:13 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

wakened from her slumber
betrayal in the night
ruptured sense of
right from wrong
blinded without
any light

favors for the silence
tresspassers beware
protection comes with
all the strings
retribution with
just a stare

adoration for a price
violation always free
mesmerized her very soul
darkened evil
is all she sees

the heart to race on
the heat to follow
her tears ignored
her pleas so hollow

he took with
little care
and forsaken malice
she lost her footing
tripping off balance

his task so great
he blinded her will
broken and battered
left open for others' evil

lost and crying out
shelter in the storm
solace in a shoulder
struggle no more

I know the peace you now have found
Yet still the darkness calls around
Your spirit strong, your will to breathe
Touches and inspires me..

As always you reach deep inside and create your masterpieces of emotional writes
Excellent!!

I don't know how it ended,
It might be A or B,
I wish you luck however,
It's not for me to see.
