Fraisers surgery

Contributed by lowman613 on Thursday, 16th October 2003 @ 11:16:21 PM in AEST
Topic: PetPoems

I sat here waiting till I got the call,
that your surgery went o.k,
pacing the floors till the end of the hall,
and stopping just to pray,
Not knowing if you'll come back home to me,
and greeting me every day,
was something I could'nt bare to see,
I need to know if youre o.k,
so much money this all did cost,
but your worth it all to me,
for not having you,I'd be lost,
thats why we had this surgery,
you could'nt walk or get up,
It killed me to see that from you,
you've been special since you were a pup,
I hated to see what you went through,
Your like a child of mine,
not just a dog in our family,
now you'll be just fine,
all because of the surgery!
To Fraiser my baby!

I love my dog to bits and could never imagine life without her. Animals are mans best friend [and womens], not just dogs, but all animals. This is a lovely write for your dog, and if he could read, then he would feel so special!

I loved this. You captured the anxiety and devotion and stress and worry of a real dog lover, who sees a companion and family member, not just a pet.

Yes, money can be tight, but like the words you invested here, well worth the payoff. You deserve 5/5 just for the subject matter, and I loved the happy ending.

Dogs RULE!!!

Spike
