Hammer blows ring true
within the forge
Striking out the steady cadence
of purification
Metal stretches
in the orange glow
Sparks fly with each
metronomic beat
Random flashes
of razored steel
The bellowing blast
of the cauldron
Premonitions of form
Infinity
The unseen architecture
of the mind
Humanity forged from
the same essence
Tried and shaped by
suffering and joy
Experience;
the ungainly hammer
We stand apart
the sole creator
of our mold
